There are many resources available to deaf children and their families. There are local, regional and national agencies and organizations that offer a wide range of services ranging from educational support, family support, and community outreach. This website does not necessarily support or recommend the views or products of any organization listed below. National Association of the Deaf - National group established in 1880, providing information and advocacy for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deaf-blind individuals. Lots of great information.

IMPACT - Independently Merging Parents Associations of California, an organization for parents of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children

CAL-ED - California Educators of the Deaf, professional organization for educators of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students

CAID - Council of American Instructors of the Deaf, an organization for teachers, administrators, educational interpreters and others concerned with the education of the deaf.
