This is my first and original homepage. Since the creation of this page, I have gone on to create the Deaf Education: A Parent's Guide. I am compiling data on deaf education including but not limited to: curriculum, types of classes, sign language, etc. I am completing my tenth year of teaching. For my first two years, my class was for multihandicapped/deaf children. The following year, I had a 2nd-3rd grade class which included deaf and hard of hearing students both mainstreamed and students with learning and or other disabilities. The ages ranged from 7 to 11 years of age. My fourth year, I taught preschool deaf students. For the past six years, I have taught in a Self Contained Classroom with students ranging from preschool through sixth grade. In addition, I have had students with multiple disabilities. I have completed my masters degree from California State University at San Jose. Any information you would like to add, trade or discuss is welcomed. Improvements on this page will be added regularly (hopefully).
